Spend a relaxing morning in the privacy of the custom-designed authentic thatch-roofed palapa, savoring the authentic specialties of Mexico, prepared by Teresa with your special tastes in mind. The afternoon is full of possibilities, and can be spent in quiet tranquility, searching for shells on the beach or lounging in the shade of the palapa -- also known as the living room on the beach!

If youčre feeling more adventurous, take one our hand-held underwater sea scooters out for a bit of snorkeling and exploring the tide pools in front of the house. Wečve left you a variety of sizes of rock shoes to make your ocean swim more enjoyable, along with some boogie boards for your use. If youčre lucky you can watch one Puerto Vallartačs famous dancing horses putting on a little show, visible from the palapa. Whale and bird watching from the palapa is a relaxing afternoon's pastime.

Close-to-home activities also include a masseuse service, available upon request, to treat you to a soothing massage in the privacy of your suite, out by the pool, or in the palapa while you relax to the sounds of the ocean waves.

Just a short 10 miles away is Punta Mita, where you can charter a boat for a day trip to the most spectacular snorkeling spots in the area. There is reasonably priced year-round deep sea fishing at Punta Mita and La Cruz.

Thirty minutes from Playa De Arizona is downtown PV, with world-class art galleries and shopping for every taste.

Punta Del Burro Beach is known for its exceptional surfing. Just a few steps down the beach from the house you can experience the thrill of the kind of waves surfers love.

The Four Seasons golf course is just 5 minutes away; or a tee time can be arranged at two other courses a few minutes farther down the road.

How about a day trip to the surfing town of Sayulita? Shop and take in some local flavor at the popular eatery, Don Pablos. You are within ten minutes of some excellent local restaurants and elegant dining. Tapas Del Mundo, in downtown Bucerias, is well known for its celebrity patrons and sumptuous original fare. El Dorado features delectable fresh seafood dishes, LaCruz is famous for its Sunday night authentic street tacos. These are just a few of our own favorite family night spots.

If youčd prefer to do your own cooking, feel free to take advantage of our fully-appointed, well-equipped and spacious kitchen, or use the BBQ grill located next to the heated pool. Provide Teresa and Paco with a grocery list, and they will gladly accommodate your needs. Would you like to have some snacks and beer waiting for you when you arrive? No problem. Send ahead a list, and Paco and Teresa will have your chilled Coronas or margarita mix, chips and salsa waiting for you when you arrive!

La Playa De Arizona boasts lovely accommodations for up to 8 people. Each guest suite is individually climate controlled for maximum comfort, along with the sounds of the ocean to lull you to sleep. Each suite includes its own private full bath and sitting area, along with a private entrance overlooking the pool and beach. For additional accommodations exceeding 8 parties, La Playa de Arizona Tambien, located next door, can be rented as well. These two properties can be rented separately or together as a family compound accommodating up to 14.

The Palapa: Your Living Room on the Beach Furnished with a table and chairs for eating and card playing, and a wraparound built-in sofa for reading or napping, you can escape the sun without leaving the beach! Enjoy a cold margarita at the built-in wet bar facing the ocean. Savor the views: by night, the Puerto Vallarta skyline; by day, a breathtaking view all the way up and down the shoreline. The palapa is equipped with a bathroom for easy access from the beach, including an outside shower to wash off the sand. An electrical connection and CD player are provided..
